The cute and colorful Water Powered Clock is a great way to introduce the kids to green technology. Just show them how by adding water you can power a clock for six months – it’s kind of fascinating! And on top of the science lesson, one of the four colors will undoubtedly look great in their bedroom.

Unfortunately these are just made for toddlers – I’d love to see them in my size!

I love this truck – not only does it look great, but it’s amazingly green. It’s made in the USA from 100% curbside recycled milk jugs, and it contains no BPAs or other harmful compounds. It’s packaged in 100% recyclable packaging. And on top of that, the Green Toys Recycling Truck looks like it’s super fun for kids!

This vetiver bath mat is sustainable harvested in Indonesia. Not only is it beautiful, but each time it gets wet it releases its fragrance, a wonderful woody aroma. It’s a pleasure to the senses.

These beautiful hats, gloves and scarves come from Uncommon Goods and look great. They’re made from scrap cloth, and come in a variety of colors. They’re nice and understated (which I like), but they show enough personality to be fun. They’d make a great gift!
