Cuisinart Green Gourmet Grill Pan

Did you know that Cuisinart sells a set of high-quality environmentally-friendly cookware? I didn’t, until now. Featuring the same Cuisinart quality you’d expect, the pans feature a water-based petroleum-free Ceramica non-stick surface that won’t peel off and is free of PTFE and PFOA. The pans are also made from 70% recycled steel, and the packaging is made from 100% recycled materials.

Oh, and they are currently on sale at Amazon for about 50% off!

Biodegradable Tableware

Biodegradable Tableware

This tableware set from Real Goods has a lot going for it. It’s biodegradable, and mulches in as little as four months. It’s made from renewable bamboo, straw and rice hull fibers, and is colored with rice or coconut. They’re also petroleum and plastic free. The thing I love the best about them though, is that they look beautiful. They’re nice and simple, and they have the size and shape of tableware that fits perfectly. I didn’t realize biodegradable tableware even existed a few days ago – now this set is at the top of my wish list!
